Terms of Service

Effective date: October 19, 2025

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Sora Watermark Remover including our website, browser extensions, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organization.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and have legal capacity to accept these Terms. If applicable law requires parental/guardian consent, you must obtain it.

2. Accounts and Access

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at [email protected].
  • We may suspend or revoke access if we reasonably believe there is unauthorized use, security risk, or breach of these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload or process content without sufficient rights, or that infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy, or other rights.
  • Violate any law, encourage illegal activity, or submit content that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful.
  • Circumvent technical measures, reverse engineer, decompile, probe, or disrupt the Service or our infrastructure.
  • Use automated means to exceed rate limits/quotas or to scrape, mine, or harvest data.

We may take any action we deem reasonable to protect the Service and other users.

4. User Content and License

You retain ownership of videos and other materials you submit ("User Content"). Solely to provide the Service you request (e.g., watermark removal, transcoding), you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, transform, and transmit User Content. We do not claim ownership of your content.

Unless you instruct otherwise or we are legally required to retain it, processed media and temporary files are deleted after delivery and within [24–72 hours]. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to User Content and for compliance with applicable laws.

5. Subscriptions, Trials, and Payments

Paid plans are billed by Stripe and auto-renew until cancelled. Fees are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise; applicable taxes are added.

  • Trials/Promo: If offered, trials convert to paid unless cancelled before the trial ends.
  • Price Changes: We may change fees with prior notice; changes apply to the next billing term.
  • Cancellation: Takes effect at the end of the current paid term; access continues until then.
  • Refunds: We generally do not provide refunds for partial periods, except where required by law or we explicitly state otherwise.
  • Payment Issues: Failure to pay may result in downgrade, suspension, or termination. Chargebacks may lead to account suspension.

Invoices/receipts are available via your Stripe customer portal or upon request.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service (software, design, logos, trademarks) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may not use our branding without prior written permission. We may use feedback you provide to improve the Service without obligation or attribution.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates or interacts with third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and policies. Key providers include (as applicable): Stripe (payments), Google (OAuth sign-in; optional analytics), Cloudflare Turnstile (bot detection), Vercel (hosting/CDN/logs/routing), Vercel Blob (temporary object storage), Replicate (AI inference), and Neon/Supabase (database). We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices.

8. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] with: (a) your contact details, (b) identification of the copyrighted work and the allegedly infringing material, (c) a statement of good-faith belief, and (d) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act. We may remove or disable access to the material and, where appropriate, notify the user.

9. Service Availability; Beta Features

We strive for reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates, or emergencies may cause downtime. Beta/experimental features may be modified or discontinued at any time and are provided "as is".

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors or harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SORA WATERMARK REMOVER AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law are not affected.

12. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sora Watermark Remover, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or otherwise misuse the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, but provisions intended to survive (e.g., IP, payments, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law) will remain in effect. We may retain limited data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, accounting).

14. Export and Sanctions Compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable export-control and sanctions laws and not to use or provide access to the Service in embargoed or restricted countries or to prohibited parties.

15. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified (e.g., updated effective date, in-product notice, or email). Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, U.S.A., without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

17. General

  • Force Majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control.
  • Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
  • No Waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • Entire Agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements.
  • Notices. We may provide notices by email, in-product messages, or by posting on the website. You consent to electronic communications.
